InputDynamics was awarded a R&D government grant channelled through EEDA and more recently a Seed Investment from Cambridge Enterprise Seed Funds, the University of Cambridge's commercialisation office, to continue the development of TouchDevice™, its low-cost highly innovative input solution for the smartphone market.
TouchDevice™ relies on the input generated by the acoustic and motion sensors when the user is tapping on the display screen or any part of the casework of a handset to effectively simulate a soft-key. Our input technology delivers completely new ways for users to interface with devices that are intuitive and flexible, and freeing designers from the limitations of conventional User Interfaces confined to keypads and touchscreens.
